1. Introduction
Welcome to Teressa Mahoney Music's website ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using our website and services, including music production, vocal coaching, songwriting, audiobook narration, and online bookings, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our site and services.
2. Services Offered
Live Music Performance – Solo or small ensemble performances for venues, weddings, private events, and special occasions. Wedding & Event Music – Live music and DJ services tailored for weddings and private events. Custom Songwriting – Personalized song creation for weddings, anniversaries, and special moments.
3. Payment Terms
Clients may pay for services externally (via PayPal, Venmo, bank transfer) or directly on the website. Work will begin once payment is received according to the agreed terms. A 50% deposit is required for songwriting projects. Full payment is required before delivery of final files.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
By booking a service, you agree to the following cancellation and refund terms:
Music Production, Songwriting, and Audiobook Narration Services
A50% deposit is required before work begins. The deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced. If a project is canceled before work starts, a full refund will be issued. If a project is canceled after work has started, no refunds will be provided, but clients may receive a partial credit toward a future project at our discretion.
Vocal Coaching & Lessons
Clients may cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund or rescheduling without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable.
Refunds for Completed Work
No refunds will be issued for completed digital work, including recorded vocals, narration, songwriting, or production files. If there is an error in a delivered file, we will provide reasonable revisions to correct technical issues.
5. Usage & Intellectual Property Rights
Any custom songs, compositions, or productions created remain owned by the client unless otherwise agreed. Vocal recordings, harmonies, and toplines may be used only within the agreed-upon project scope and may not be resold or reused in another work without permission. Audiobook narration projects grant the author or rights holder exclusive distribution rights unless otherwise agreed. Unauthorized use, duplication, or distribution of provided content is prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
We strive to provide high-quality services, but we do not guarantee specific results or outcomes. We are not responsible for technical failures, delays, or disruptions beyond our control. Clients agree to use our services at their own discretion and risk.
